It's one of the most common questions people bring to a lawyer: When is an officer allowed to stop my car? It makes sense. For most of us, the road is where we're most likely to cross paths with law enforcement.

Most of us have heard the term “restraining order.” You may know someone who has asked for one, or someone who has had one filed against them.
