Amanda Richardt
Legal Paraprofessional
A fierce advocate for her clients and takes pride in making the legal process feel less intimidating. She understands that reaching out to a law firm often happens during one of the most stressful times in a person's life, and she works hard to ensure every client feels heard, supported, and informed at each step along the way.
About
Born and raised in Brainerd, Amanda has deep roots in the Lakes Area and a genuine understanding of the communities Ed Shaw Law serves. Before joining the legal field, she built a meaningful background working with families and children, as well as in domestic violence advocacy — experience that shaped her compassionate, client-centered approach and her commitment to standing up for those who need it most.

Amanda earned her Associate of Paralegal Studies degree from National Paralegal College in 2023. In August 2025, she became authorized to practice as a Legal Paraprofessional in Minnesota, a designation that allows her to provide legal representation to clients in certain family law matters, expanding access to affordable, quality legal help for families across Greater Minnesota.

Outside of work, Amanda is a proud mama to four kids, three dogs, and an axolotl. She loves spending time on the water boating and fishing, camping with her family, tending to her houseplants, and taking on DIY projects around the house.
